Description: The name paracetamol is derived from the historical name (para-(Acetylamino)phenol). It is a non-opioid analgesic that also has an antipyretic effect. The exact mechanism of action has not yet been fully clarified. Unlike like Acetylsalicylic acid, it has a significantly less effect on the aggregation behavior of the red platelets.
